Dharma Works and the Princeton Center for Yoga and Health are offering a daylong Introduction to Insight Dialogue on Saturday, November 9th. Inspired by vipassana and the wisdom teachings of the Buddha, Insight Dialogue is a co-meditative, relational practice that helps us bring the presence and insight we experience in silent meditation to our relationships with others. Intended for those with an established meditation/yoga practice, the retreat will offer community connection alongside meditation and guided activities that include speaking, listening, and mutual silence. Bart van Melik (www.bartvanmelik.com), who teaches at the New York Insight Meditation Society, the Barre Center for Buddhist Studies, The Metta Foundation, and The Lineage Project, will lead the retreat.

Limited to 25 participants due to our space and the nature of the practice, the retreat will last from 10:00am to 5:00pm on Saturday, November 9th, at the Princeton Center for Yoga & Health (88 Orchard Road, Skillman, NJ). The daylong retreat fee, which includes teacher support, lunch, and Insight Dialogue materials, is $100. To create a truly inclusive and diverse retreat, Dharma Works holds supported and free spaces for practitioners from under-represented communities, including
people of color, LGBTQIA+, veterans, members of the recovery community, and the formerly incarcerated. We also have a few spaces for those in need of financial assistance.
