Join in the good company of your sangha for a return to meditation in nature as we seek refuge in the presence of the four elements: earth, water, fire, and air. We will walk together under the canopy of trees and past an open meadow to find our seat alongside Wargo Pond. We're likely to hear a variety of songbirds, see darting barn swallows and sedentary turtles, smell the good earthy smells of abundant vegetation and mud, and feel the sun and wind as the pond welcomes us to sit beside her.
This event is free, but participation will be limited to 12 persons. Please click here to register.
What to wear and what to bring: The trails are unpaved, and can be muddy. There are tree roots that cross the trail, making the path uneven. Wear boots or other sturdy shoes. Dress for the weather, although we’ll cancel if there’s heavy rain. You may want to bring a packable chair if you have one.
There will be an opportunity to offer dana to the Watershed Institute.
